The French Agency for Biodiversity has given a favourable opinion for the offshore wind project, but has recommended additional mitigation measures. The additional mitigation measures include increasing the height of the towers to reduce bird collision risk as well as increasing the budget for scientific and technical follow-up to the project implementation. Moreover, no pile installations will be allowed during breeding periods of marine fauna and triggers of the avoid, reduce, remedy/compensate measures will be reviewed and expanded, including stopping all machines in case of established high mortality of birds or marine fauna
