TerniEnergia has signed a preliminary contract for the sale to Buttol Srl, a company operating in the environmental services sector, of 100% of the shares of NewcoEnergy Srl, owner of the biodigestion and biomethane production plant under construction in Calimera. The land is subject to the intervention and the related building and environmental authorizations.
The sale of the company shares amounts to EUR2.9 (US$3.25) million. Buttol will deposit EUR50 (US$55.6) thousand upon signing the preliminary contract and will pay an additional down payment of EUR0.3 (US$0.3) million on 20 January 2020.
The closing of the transaction, expected by the month of March 2020, is subject to the requirements included in the TerniEnergia Recovery and Relaunch Plan.
