Malaysia’s largest electric utility company, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, has signed a 21-year power purchase agreement (PPA) to offtake the output of Pulau Indah Power Plant Sdn Bhd's 1.2 GW combined cycle gas power plant in Selangor.
Tadmax Resources Bhd, Worldwide Holdings Bhd, and Korea Electric Power Corporation own the special purpose vehicle.
The project is expected to reach commercial operation by January 2024.
