Sumitomo Corp closes sale of 61 MW solar PV project in US to Greenbacker

Sumitomo Corporation of Americas has announced the sale of its Turquoise Nevada solar project in northern Nevada to Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC. The 60.65 megawatt (DC) Turquoise Nevada project will sell power through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NV Energy through the state’s GreenEnergy Rider program.

The project is located in Reno Technology Park in Washoe County.
