Statkraft AS has received the development permit for the construction of a 55 MWp solar photovoltaic project located in Caceres province of Extremadura in Spain.
The Talayuela II is located about 10 km from the 300 MWp Talayuela Solar farm. The project will consist of 94,000 bifacial solar modules that are capable of generating up to 110 GWh of energy per year.
Statkraft acquires the project from UK firm Solarcentury. Germany’s Encavis will co-own the solar project.
