SPIC Dongfang to build 400 MW offshore wind project in China's Liaoning Province

SPIC Dongfang New Energy Corporation, a unit of State Power Investment Corporation of China, has secured a clearance to build the 400 MW offshore wind project off the coast of Changhai County, Dalian, in Liaoning province, China. 

The facility will represent up to CNY7.1 billion (US$US$1.02 billion) of investment. 

The company will sell the energy produced from the facility at CNY795 per MWh (US$115.37 per MWh), including VAT.
