Scatec Solar ASA secured funds for the 30 MW Kamianka solar photovoltaic project in Ukraine.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Dutch development bank FMO will provide EUR 12.25 million each, totaling to EUR 24.5 million, for the financing of the project. The funds will cover 70% overall project cost.
Solar served as the project owner, in charge of engineering, procurement and construction works, operation and maintenance and asset management. The construction of the project will start early this year. The company is now in the process of securing partners.
