RWE commissions 220 MW Cranell Windfarm in Refugio County

RWE's Cranell wind farm, a 220 megawatt (MW) project, located in Texas, has achieved commercial operation. The project is powered by 100 Vestas 2.2 MW turbines and will have the capacity to generate enough electricity to power more than 66,000 homes.

The project represents an investment of US$250 million.
