Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (RUVNL) has launched a request for selection (RFS) tender for the development of the 1,000 MW solar photovoltaic project located in Rajasthan, India.
The tender invites proposals for the setting up of STU-connected solar PV projects which will be interconnected at designated substations for an aggregate capacity of 1 GW on a Build Own Operate (BOO) basis. RUVNL shall enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the successful Bidders selected based on this RfS for the purchase of Solar Power for a period of 25 years based on the terms, conditions, and provisions of the RfS and PPA.
Already commissioned projects cannot be considered under this RfS. Projects under construction or projects which are not yet commissioned will, however, be considered, in case these projects are not already accepted under any other Central or State Schemes. Enhancement of or adding extra capacity to already commissioned Projects, irrespective of their capacities will not be considered eligible Projects under this scheme.
The deadline for the submission of tender documents is on February 18, 2023.
