Blue Gem Wind, the joint venture between Total and Simply Blue Energy, has awarded Rovco a million-pound floating wind survey contract for Erebus offshore floating wind farm in the UK.
Rovco will begin survey work on Erebus, a planned 96 MW offshore project 45 km off the coast of Pembrokeshire, in August. The survey will consist of a detailed geophysical and environmental site investigation to assess the seabed and sub-surface conditions at both the wind farm and along the potential cable routes to shore.
