Rosatom, a unit of NovaWind JSC, has started the commercial operation of the 150 MW wind park in Adygea, Russia. The wind project features 60 wind turbines.
The project used 65% locally produced equipment, as confirmed by the Russian Ministry of industry and trade. Through its localization program, NovaWind has planned to bring the degree to 80-85%. As part of the current localization program, the task concerning batch production of wind turbine components and assemblies in the territory of the Russian Federation was solved.
Rosatom is a system integrator that effectively accomplishes a full range of tasks, such as designing wind farms, making its own production of wind turbine components, managing the supply chain and logistics of components to the site, subsequent service and operation.
