RFEOI launched for floating offshore wind farm in Brittany

French Commission de régulation de l’énergie (CRE) has launched the request for expression of interest (RFEOI) tender for the development of an up to 270 MW commercial floating offshore wind project in Brittany. 

The project tender is part of the Multiannual Energy Programme of the French government that seeks to develop 8.75 GW of offshore wind capacity by 2028.

The deadline for the submission of applications is on July 1, 2021.
