Quercus Assets Selection Sarl, a renewable energy company based in London, has completed the purchase of a 39 MW Bosco Le Piane wind project located in Basilicata region in southern Italy from Denmark’s European Energy.
The project is acquired for a total consideration of EUR80 million (US$70.7 million). It consists of 13 wind turbines supplied by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. It has a 20-year fixed price feed-in tariff enough to meet the demand of about 13, 000 families.
