Teralight has signed a 23-year power purchase agreement (PPA) for 108 MW/433 MWh of solar-plus-storage capacity project in the Jezreel Valley, northern Israel.

Teralight is to sell the entire output capacity of its Ta'anach 2 project for a sum ranging from ILS 2.2 billion to ILS 2.3 billion (USD 578 million). Under this 23-year contract, the electricity generated will be supplied to Dalia Power Energies, with the primary aim of meeting the energy needs of households in Israel.

The Ta'anach 2 project, a solar-plus-storage endeavor with a combined capacity of 108 MW/433 MWh, forms an integral part of the broader Ta'anach project. Situated in the northern reaches of Israel's Jezreel Valley, the Ta'anach project boasts a total capacity of 250 MW. This impressive capacity contributes significantly to Israel's clean energy resources, representing 5.2% of the nation's clean energy capacity and 1.2% of its overall production capacity. As estimated by Teralight, the project is expected to provide energy to approximately 63,000 Israeli households.

Anticipated to commence operations in the first half of 2025, the Ta'anach 2 project holds promise as a vital contributor to Israel's renewable energy landscape.
