Monsson Operation GmbH, a company indirectly controlled by PLC S.p.A, has been awarded a contract for the installation of 15 E-138 ENERCON wind turbines at the Markbygden wind farm in Sweden.
Monsson will install EP2 and EP3 wind turbine types. Activities are expected to start in the second quarter of 2020 and are expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter of 2020. The installation contract includes crane services and cabling works and has a value of approximately EUR2.5 million (US$2.8 million).
Monsson may get another contract for the installation of 15 more turbines in the same wind farm in 2020 or 2021.
