Planree receives planning permission from authority for its wind project in Donegal

Planree has received planning permission from An Bord Pleanala for its wind project located at Meenbog, Croaghonagh and Cashelnavean, in County Donegal.

The project, consists of 19 turbines, has a capacity of up to 50 MW and features turbines with a ground to blade tip heights of up to 156.5 metres (513.5 ft). The project is a revision of a previously rejected 49-turbine wind farm.

The approval of the project comes with a number of conditions, including shadow flicker requirements. Planree has submitted the revised application for permission in December 2017.
