Greenlink Interconnector Ltd, a subsidiary of Element Power, has appointed WSP the lead engineering consultant for the project. WSP will assist Greenlink through the final cost and technical assessments for UK energy regulator Ofgem and Ireland's Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU), and manage the procurement for the entire system. Construction is expected to commence in 2020
