Hive Energy Ltd and Wirsol Energy Ltd have initiated a second phase of consultattion for the project. Cleve Hill Solar Park Ltd, a joint venture between the two companies, is expecting feedback on an updated proposal until July 13, 2018. Once this phase concludes, the company will make an application for a Development Consent Order (DCO) to the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) in late summer or early autumn. The final decision is not expected to come before 2020
