OSMI Australia has announced that the Planning permit approved for the terminal station at the 205 MW Delburn Wind Farm in Victoria, Australia.
The Delburn Wind Farm will be constructed to the south of the Latrobe Valley, overlooking the former Hazelwood Mine site in the Latrobe Valley. Situated above the existing HVP plantation, 33 turbines will generate 205 MW of clean energy to the electricity grid. Construction is planned to commence in 2024 and is scheduled for completion in 2026.
The approval of the terminal station planning permit amendment comes after the Delburn Wind Farm applied to the Minister for Planning in July 2023 requesting the amendments and follows the amendments to the Wind Energy Facility planning permits being approved in November 2023.
