Palmet Enerji has agreed to acquire EWE's Turkish energy assets after Azerbaijan state oil company SOCAR dropped out of the deal.
The deal represents an investment between EUR130 -150 million (US$148-172 million). Palmet is in discussions with banks to finance the acquisition, which is subject to approval by Turkish energy and antitrust regulators.
EWE has commissioned Barclays Plc to manage the sale process.
