Oracle Power Plc has completed its initial study connected to the development of a 400 MW hydrogen production facility in the state of Sindh in Pakistan.
The result of the study reveals that the project can reduce the costs of wind and solar power in the country and could deliver green hydrogen for less than US$2 per kilogram. The project can provide a fuel source for multiple sectors including steel and fertilizer producing facilities.
The whole project requires about US$2 billion of investment for the development of a 400 MW hydrogen production plant, a 700 MW solar farm, a 500 MW wind farm, and a 450 MW battery energy storage facility for the electrolysis.
