The New South Wales Planning Commission has approved with conditions, changes to the state planning approval for the Coppabella Wind Farm located in Yass Valley in NSW Southern Tablelands.
With the secured approval from the authority, the project developer, Goldwind Australia, will now proceed to the construction phase of the project that will commence in 2019.
The project, located 30km west of Yass, will have up to 200 jobs on site during construction and up to 15
permanent staff during operations.
Once operational, the wind farm production will power around 120,000 NSW homes each year.
