Neoen is set to present a trimmed down Crystal Brook Energy Park project at the South Australian Planning Commission to the State Commission Assessment Panel. The 275 MW renewable energy park consists of wind, solar and storage facilities.
The project consists of up to 125 MW of wind capacity, up to 150 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity, up to 130 MW/400 MWh of battery storage, as well as up to 50 MW of hydrogen production.
Neoen has reduced the total number of turbines to 26 from the original proposal presented. The project represents a potential investment of about AUD500 million (US$462.25 million).
