Nexus Energía has signed a 14-year power purchase agreement (PPA) deal with X-Elio for the output of its 50 MW solar photovoltaic project located in the Region of Murcia in Spain. The company will start producing power by the second semester of 2019.
The deal is the first PPA of X-Elio in Spain, although the company has a high experience in signing this type of contracts worldwide, in strategic countries within its activity, such as Mexico or the United States. In this case, the agreement will allow the company to ensure the level of income of the projects when selling their energy to the market, and therefore strengthen the viability of the same.
