New Energy Solar agrees to acquire 46.7 MW solar project in New South Wales

New Energy Solar has agreed to acquire the 46.7 MW Manildra solar project from a unit of First Solar Inc based on an enterprise value of AUD113 million (US$83.7 million).

The solar project has been already generating power for the National Electricity Market and has a standing 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) and Large Scale Generation Certificates (LGCs) agreement with EnergyAustralia, extendable until December 2030.
