Eolus has completed the 79 MW Jenåsen wind farm, located in Sundsvall municipality, Sweden. The wind farm comprises 23 Vestas V126 3.45 MW wind turbines.
In May 2017 Eolus signed an agreement with reinsurance firm Munich Re, via its asset manager MEAG, regarding the sale of the wind farm. All conditions for the fulfillment of the agreed transaction have been met, payments have been made and the buyer has taken over the facilities.
Eolus will deliver asset management services for the wind farm. The electricity produced will be sold to Google via a power purchase agreement (PPA).
