MPower, subsidiary of Australian power sector investor Tag Pacific Ltd, has won an order to build a 6.8-MW solar park in Mannum, South Australia.
The facility consists of 17,000 photovoltaic (PV) panels, single-axis trackers and the given capacity is in direct current. The plant will use Canadian Solar hardware.
The contract was awarded by a subsidiary of Canadian Solar Inc and the work is expected to be completed by the end of 2019. The value of the deal stands at over AUD3 million (US$2.1 million).
