Modern Energy Management (MEM) has been engaged to provide operation asset management support to optimize operations and revenue for the 39.375 MW Dam Nai wind project in Vietnam for Scatec.
Scatec acquired the Dam Nai operational wind farm on 27 January 2021, marking it as its first wind project acquisition. MEM provided the original acquisition due diligence, making it a natural progression for Scatec to continue the relationship to assist with the operating of the wind farm.
Dam Nai onshore wind is located in the Ninh Thuan province, approximately 350 km north of Ho Chi Minh City in the southern part of Vietnam. The wind farm consists of Phase I (7.9 MW) and Phase II (31.5 MW) and has 15 wind turbines each with a 2.6 MW capacity. The plant is expected to generate approximately 123.2 GWh annually.
