Microsoft Corporation has signed a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) deal with Dutch Eneco Holding NV for the combined capacity of 731.5-MW produced from Borssele III & IV offshore wind projects in the Dutch North Sea.
The deal sets to provide power for Microsoft's data centers and is scheduled to commence in 2022.
The projects are developed by Eneco in partnership with Partners Group Holding, Royal Dutch Shell Plc, Mitsubishi Corp's fully-owned subsidiary Diamond Generating Europe, and Van Oord NV.
