The State of Tamaulipas in Mexico has commenced the commercial operation of the third phase of the Tres Mesas wind power complex with a generating capacity of 50 MW.
Phase III consists of 15 Vestas V136 wind turbines capable of generating up to 223 GWh of clean electricity per year, enough to meet the annual demand of 126,000 local homes.
The wind project is part of the 593 MW Tres Mesas wind complex.
