Leeward has announced the repowering of the wind farm will commence this month. 29 Siemens Gamesa 2.6-126 turbines will replace all existing units in order to maximize the efficiency, performance and extend the lifespan of the wind farm. The overall capacity will increase from 50 to 76 MW. The work is expected to be completed in December 2018
