The manufacturing facility of Kellogg in New South Wales will be powered with clean energy after it has signed a seven and half year power purchase deal with the Beryl Solar Farm.
The volume of electricity and Large-Scale Generation Certificates (LGCs) sold to Kellogg will represent for th 29% of the solar farm's power generation for the remainder of 2019. The cereal manufacturing company has an option to extend the PPA term up to 2029.
The 87 MW Beryl Solar Farm has commenced operation on June 7, 2019. Part of its produced energy is sold to the Sydney Metro Northwest railway based on a 15-year PPA. The project is owned by New Energy Solar.
