The renewables engineering consultancy K2 Management has secured an owner’s engineer mandate from Xuan Cau for its two wind projects in Vietnam.
The pre-construction phase scope includes tendering support for the Balance of plant (BOP) activities with technical specifications, site study, and full owner’s engineer support through commissioning of the 60 MW onshore wind farm in Binh Dinh province. It is expected to be completed by end-2021.
K2 Management also secured similar roles on a 120 MW nearshore wind project in Soc Trang province which will be split into two phases for 18 months.
