JDR Cables has been contracted to supply inter-array cables and cable accessories for the 487 MW SeaMade cluster of offshore wind projects located in Vlaanderen zones 6 and 7 of the North Sea, off the coast of Belgium.
The contract is signed with DEME Offshore, a unit of DEME Group, which acts as the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contractor of the offshore wind farm. JDR will design, produce, and deliver 78.1 km of aluminum core inter-array cables alongside a range of cable accessories such as repair joints and connectors.
JDR Cables is set to accomplish the works by the end of 2019.
