India cancels proposal for 500 MW solar park in Tamil Nadu

India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has canceled its proposal to develop a 500 MW solar project at Kadaladi in Ramanathapuram district, in the state of Tamil Nadu.

The reason for the cancellation was tardy progress in its implementation.
