The Finnish energy group Helen in partnership with the unit of CPC Germania, CPC Finland, has started the construction of the 86MW Lakiakangas 3 wind farm located in Isojoki in the South Ostrobothnia region of Finland.
The development would cost an investment of about EUR100 million (US$118.3 million). The project will consist of 20 V150-4.2 MW wind turbines in 4.3 MW Power Optimised Mode provided by Denmark’s Vestas Wind Systems. OP Corporate Bank has provided non-recourse financing to support the project.
The project is expected to start operation before the end of 2021.
