Gresham House Energy Storage Fund Plc has completed the purchase of a battery storage project located on the Red Scar Business Park, outside Preston, in UK.

The 49 MW Red Scar battery storage project was acquired from developers Gresham House DevCo Ltd and Noriker Power Ltd for a total enterprise value of about GBP32.8 million (US$43.1 million).

The project was handed over on December 31, 2019, after a series of commissioning tests and is now grid-connected.
