Greenvolt – Energias Renovaveis, Equitix completes acquisition of 43.6 MW Tilbury Biomass Green Power Project

Portuguese renewable energy company Greenvolt – Energias Renovaveis SA and funds managed by Equitix Group have jointly completed the acquisition of Tilbury Green Power Holdings Ltd (TPGH) for GBP246.5 million (US$340.77 million). 

TPGH Ltd is the developer and owner of the 43.6 MW biomass power plant located in Tilbury in Essex, UK. The ownership of the project would be split to 51-49 between Greenvolt and the Equitix funds.

The project has been in operation since 2017.
