Greencoat completes purchase of stakes in 207 MW wind farms from Coillte

Greencoat Renewables Plc has completed the purchase of stakes in three wind farms with a combined capacity of 207 MW. The deal covers 50% stakes in 35.2 MW Raheenleagh wind farm in Raheenleagh Forest; 50% stakes in 108 MW Cloosh Valley wind farm (Cloosh Valley is part of the 169 MW Galway Wind Park); and 25% stakes in 64 MW Sliabh Bawn wind farm in Roscommon County. 

The transaction involves a total consideration of EUR115.3 million (US$131.5) with a net generating capacity acquired by Greencoat of  87.6 MW. 

The acquired assets have a long-term fixed rate project finance. Its overall net enterprise value stands at EUR247 million (US$281.6) million.
