Greenbacker closes acquisition of 80 MW solar project in Utah

Greenbacker Renewable Energy has completed the acquisition of an 80 MW solar photovoltaic plant located in Utah. 

The Graphite Solar I project was acquired from rPlus Energies for undisclosed financial details. The facility is currently being developed in Carbon County with planned commercial operation by the first quarter of 2021. 

PacifiCorp, on behalf of the social media giant Facebook, has signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with the solar farm.
