Green Power EMC and Silicon Ranch sign solar PPAs

Silicon Ranch Corporation will invest approximately $89 million in two solar projects in the city of Bluffton.

The facilities are scheduled to operate before the end of 2021. It will generate more than 100 MWac of solar energy. More than 19,000 homes will be serve for the next 30 years. 

The utility-scale facilities are part of a portfolio of projects announced in June by Silicon Ranch and Green Power EMC, the renewable energy supplier for 38 Georgia Electric Membership Corporations (EMCs).
