Genex Power Ltd has secured approval for the AUD 175 million (US$ 118.9 million) debt financing for its 50 MW Jemalong solar project in New South Wales and the debt refinancing for its 50 MW Kidston Renewable Energy Hub Stage 1 in Queensland.
The financial package will be sourced from a group of three banks, including DZ BANK, NORD/LB and Westpac Banking Corp.
The 50 MW KS1 plant in Kidston, North Queensland has been in operation since 2018 while the Jemalong solar project will be commissioned in 2020.
Final documentation is needed for the credit approval for the projects.
