GE Renewable Energy is set to supply 26 turbines for the 143 MW Blabergsliden in Sweden after it has secured a contract from Swedish forestry and paper company Holmen AB.
The deal comes with a 25-year service contract to the wind turbines.
The project represents a total investment of SEK1.3 billion (US$150 million) with the construction to be conducted outside of Skelleftea in northern Sweden. Once commissioned in 2021, the wind park is capable of delivering power for up to 35,000 households annually.
