Full Circle Wind Services has secured an operations and maintenance contract with Thrive Renewables for the 16 MW Caton Moor Wind Farm, located in an area of open access moorland in Lancashire, UK.
The Caton Moor site, commissioned in 2006, consists of eight Senvion MM70 turbines delivering a total capacity of 16 MW. A repowering project in 2005 boosted the wind farm’s electricity production by a factor of seven. At present, the facility generates approximately 47 million kilowatt-hours per year, providing enough clean energy to supply more than 11,000 households annually.
The contract, which commenced in July 2025, covers scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and 24/7/365 monitoring. It will be supported by Full Circle’s Livingston warehouse and regional service teams. In late July, Full Circle’s wind turbine technicians completed specialist Senvion training at Caton Moor with the support of the wind farm owner Thrive Renewables.
