Albioma has announced that the Port Ouest installation, located in the town of Le Port in Réunion, with a power of 1.34 MWc and a storage capacity of 1.33 MWh, was put into industrial service.
The installation was the winner of the Energy Regulatory Commission call for tenders in 2016. Port Ouest will produce 1.9 GWh per year, which is the annual consumption of 630 households in Réunion. Furthermore, the power plant is equipped with an energy management system that informs the network operator of the power delivered in real time.
