The financing for Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners' acquisition of 644 MW BEC power generation project in New Jersey has closed.

BEC is a gas-fired, mid-merit electricity generation facility constructed in 2012 and expanded in 2018. It distributes power into New York City via a cable that runs from Bayonne, NJ beneath New York Harbor to a substation in Brooklyn, NY.

Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation (MIC) sold the facility to Morgan Stanley in October 2018.
