Lincoln Clean Energy, recently acquired by Orsted, has secured a PPA with ExxonMobil from the 300 MW Sage Draw wind project and 350 MW Permian solar project, both located in Texas.
The power purchased will be 500 MW in total. The first 250 MW with a 12-year PPA will be from the Sage Draw while the other 250 MW will be from Permian. The Sage Draw is expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2020 while Permian in the second quarter of 2021.
