The Government of Fiji, through the Ministry of Finance, Strategic Planning, National Development and Statistics, has received financing from the World Bank (WB) for the Fiji Tourism Development Program in Vanua Levu or ‘Na Vualiku’ and intends to apply part of the proceeds for conducting a Feasibility Study for the design, procurement and installation of photovoltaics in Labasa and Savusavu, Vanua Levu, Fiji.
The objective of the Feasibility Study is to determine the technical, structural, economic, and environmental viability of renewable energy installations at six designated public infrastructure sites. The goal is to develop a technically sound, environmentally sustainable, and economically viable strategy that enhances public service delivery, reduces energy costs, and strengthens infrastructure resilience in cyclone-prone and energy-insecure regions. The Services are expected to start in Q3 2025 with an anticipated level of effort of 5.5 person-months over the months. The Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation (MTCA), as the lead implementing Agency, now invites eligible consulting firms (Consultants) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below by e-mail by 16 July 2025. For additional details about this tender, please visit our Business Opportunity page here.
