The Ministry of Energy and Mines of Eritrea has announced the invitation for bids for the design, supply, and installation of a 30 MW photovoltaic solar plant, battery storage system, and associated facilities. The project aims to provide clean and reliable energy to the country and contribute to the development of its energy sector. The African Development Bank is financing the project, which is expected to boost the country's renewable energy capacity and reduce its dependence on fossil fuels.
The proposal submission deadline is set on 17 October 2023, at 10h00 local time. Electronic submissions will not be accepted, and proposals must be physically delivered to the ministry's address.
The bidding process is open to all eligible bidders who meet the requirements specified in the bid document.
