EPCG pushes investment for Gvozd wind project

Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) is pushing for the development of the EUR58 million (US$64.77 million) Gvozd wind project in Montenegro in partnership with Austria’s Ivicom Holding. The shareholders of EPCG have approved an investment into a joint EUR 58 million (USD USD 64.77 million) project with Austria’s Ivicom Holding to build the wind farm.

The 50 MW wind farm will be built on the Gvozd-Krnovo location in the municipality of Nikšić. The project is expected to produce up to 140 GWh of electricity annually.

The construction of the wind farm is expected to start in 2020 with the commissioning set in 2022.
